1. Allergy and Asthma Essence ½ oz. bottle

Suggestions for use: This combination contains herbs that may relieve the symptoms of asthma and nasal congestion, reduce the amount of histamine, and improve digestion to reduce the absorption of allergens into the blood.

Combination: Horehound, Mullein leaves, Wild Cherry Bark, Barberry root, Peppermint leaves.

Horehound: Horehound can reduce spasms. This is especially good for allergen-induced asthma, which is caused when bronchial muscles spasm. Horehound may also reduce cough and phlegm produced by the allergen. It also cleanses the body through its diuretic properties and ability to produce perspiration.

Mullein leaves: Like horehound, mullein also has an ability to reduce spasm, due to its nerve-calming properties. Mullein is helpful in treating the headaches and migraines sometimes resulting from allergies. Mullein can soothe and coat the GI tract.

Wild Cherry Bark: Its purpose is to relax the respiratory nerves that cause asthma. It also improves digestion, which may help to reduce the allergic response.

Barberry Root: This root helps cleanse the liver and gall bladder, removing toxins and improving digestion. Sometimes improper digestion is caused by an allergic response. Barberry Root will stimulate the bowels because it is a mild laxative.

Peppermint Leaves: Peppermint leaves will make the other herbs in this blend more effective. It has an ability to clear congested nasal passages and improve breathing. Suggestions for use: The herbs in this combination help to fight viral and bacterial infections, enhance immune response, reduce fevers, and cleanse the body.

Combination: Echinacea, Licorice root, Blue Vervain, Butternut bark.

Echinacea: Echinacea has been used by Native Americans to treat snake bites and infections. It treats chronic, viral and bacterial infections, germs in the blood, and colds and flu by stimulating the immune system.
